Career
During his career in event planning, Chris Mardorf has worked in numerous capacities in the design and production of sales meetings, business conferences and association conventions. Including both large and small venues, Chris has worked as a project manager, line producer, writer, show coordinator and graphics specialist on over 250 "shows" and business meetings. He has extensive on-site show experience (domestic and overseas) with clients as varied as Ace Hardware, Transamerica, Merck, Pfizer, Baxter, Merle-Norman Cosmetics, Freightliner, Choice Hotels and Tupperware. Chris is a team player and sensitive to the needs (and feelings) of other people. He is respected for his attention to detail and his passion for excellence.

Credentials
Chris Mardorf received his B.A. in English literature from the University of Notre Dame. He also holds an M.A. in Liberal Studies (MALS) from Northwestern University. He studied professional and commercial photography at Cooper School of Art. He is a skilled user of Adobe Photoshop CS2 and also proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator CS2, GoLive CS2, InDesign CS2 and Acrobat Professional. Chris is MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) certified in Mircrosoft Excel, Word (core and expert), Outlook and PowerPoint. He is A+ CompTIA certified and Digital Projection certified. He is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.

Chris Mardorf has worked on hundreds of live events. He understands and respects the stressful nature of live events and appreciates the need to carefully utilize limited resources to maximum effect. He is results-oriented and understands the importance of deadlines. He is very familiar with the "backstage" environment of business theater and understands the technical nature and complex challenges of live productions. Chris is comfortable on both sides of the "drape line" and can gracefully handle what is euphemistically called the "ballroom dance." He is gracious with clients and easy-going with production crews.

Chris Mardorf specializes in the creation and management of electronic graphics for live events. As a "show op," he is highly skilled in the use of Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint. He has operated and managed electronics graphics for hundreds of shows, live events and business meetings all over the world. He is A+ CompTIA certified and technically proficient in the use of personal computers.

Chris Mardorf earned his degree in professional photography from Cooper School of Art in Cleveland. He is a skilled phohtogrtapher and works in both conventional and digital formats.
